The Properties panel for Repeating Tables includes several unique options, as shown below and described in the following table:

Ref | Option | Description | Example |
1 | Allow Insert | If insert is not allowed, the Insert button is hidden, and rows cannot be inserted when the form is in use. This is useful for displaying read-only data |
2 | Insert Text | Allows the Insert text on the Insert button to be replaced. This option is only visible if the Allow Insert option is enabled. |
3 | Allow Delete | If delete is not allowed, the rightmost column of the table is hidden, along with the delete buttons inside. This means rows cannot be removed when the form is in use. This is useful for displaying read-only data. |
4 | Filter | Allows users to add filters to the rows of Repeating Table. Rows of the Repeating Table will only be displayed when the filterās condition(s) are true. Filters can be constructed using the Condition Editor or the Expression Editor. For more details on how to configure conditions and expressions, see the Conditions and Expressions sections. |
5 | Sort By | Allows users to have default sorting of the case group records based on the multi valued fields inside the Repeating Table. The sorting can be done in ascending and descending orders. The figure below shows the Default Sort By interface |
6 | Paging | The user can specify the number of field group records to show per page. In this example, the field group has 5 records, and the table has a page size of 3. Two additional records are on page 2: |
7 | Show Sorting | Shows arrows in the tableās first row that allow users to sort dynamically by clicking on the cells. This sorts the case group records based on corresponding multi valued fields in that column. Here, the default sorting operation is applied to the āFirst Nameā column |
When one or more new rows are inserted, the case folder must be saved before these operations are applied to the new row.
