eCASE can purge case folder metadata through the archive/purge audit section. The first step is to set up your audit level for folders based on case type. This is done in case type creation in Settings > Application Management > Case Type Permissions. eCASE will not automatically purge all case folders that are closed. Instead, eCASE allows you to report, review, mark for deletion, and eventually purge all closed folders.
1. Navigate to Settings > Audit > Archive/Purge Audit. Select your date range.


2. Click OK.

3. You can then view the Archive details or generate a report on the Archive list.
