Case Form and Portal Form

Prev Next

By selecting Case Form or Portal Form, the UI Designer loads full versions of Case Fields and Core Fields to the new form.

  • Case Forms: Default Form Type automatically enabled for all case types

  • Offline Forms: Default Form Type automatically enabled for all case types (only uses local resources)

  • Portal Forms: Must be enabled. Users with access to the eCASE General Administration Settings can go to Settings > General Settings and check the box for Enable eCASE Portal. After filling out the required fields to configure eCASE Portal, an option to Enable Portal will appear in App Designer > Case Type Configuration > Case Features. Selecting this option will allow the portal form to appear as a Form Type in the UI Designer. Additional configurations about the portal can be managed in Settings > General Settings (see Prerequisite section).

Clicking the Next button proceeds to design mode selection.
