Users with the required Permissions can create Custom Field Groups and Custom Fields within them. Before creating Custom Fields, you need to create their Custom Field Group.
Create a Custom Field Group
Click Administration > Request Management > Request Custom Fields. The Request Custom Field Groups screen displays as shown below.

Click New. The New Request Custom Field Group screen displays as shown below.

Enter information in the fields described below per your agency's requirements.
Field | Description |
Name | The name of the Custom Field Group. |
Request Types | The types of Requests for which the new Custom Field Group will be available. |
Inactive | When selected, disables the use of the Custom Field Group. |
Show in PAL (Public Access Link) | When selected, enables the Custom Field Group to appear in PAL. This option will be available in your configuration if PAL was purchased. |
Click Save. A verification message displays as shown below.

Click OK.
Edit a Custom Field Group
After creating a Custom Field Group, users with the required Permissions can edit Custom Field Group Details.
Follow the steps below to edit a Custom Field Group:
Click Administration > Request Management > Request Custom Fields. The Request Custom Field Groups screen displays.
Select the Custom Field Group you want to edit. The first Custom Field Group will be selected by default.
Click Edit. The Request Custom Field Group Details screen displays for the selected Custom Field Group.
Edit information in the fields as necessary. These are described in the section above.
Delete Custom Field Group
Users with the required Permissions can delete a Custom Field Group if it is no longer needed. Custom Field Groups cannot be removed if associated with an open Request or Custom Field. In such instances, the Custom Group can be inactivated to prevent further use.
Click Administration > Request Management > Request Custom Fields. The Request Custom Field Groups screen displays.
Select the Custom Field Group you want to delete. The first Custom Field Group will be selected by default.
Click Delete. A verification message displays as shown below.

Click OK.
