Product Enhancements

Scheduled Maintenance Banner for eCase

#ID 1580022 and 1593538

A maintenance notification banner is now displayed across eCase portals and platform-level pages following user login when a scheduled maintenance window is configured. The banner presents the maintenance window details, including start and end times, above the portal header, and can be dismissed for the current session by clicking the close button. Each portal instance displays its own banner independently, and when no maintenance is scheduled, no banner is displayed.

Enhancements in Folder Deletion

#ID 1579903

Sensitive credentials and configuration values are now masked on administrative configuration pages for SaaS-hosted environments, helping protect passwords, keys, secrets, and license information from being displayed in plain text. This enhancement improves security while maintaining existing administrative workflows. On-premise and self-hosted deployments are not affected.

Redesigned Interface for SAML SSO Configuration

#ID 1507848

ecp-1.png

eCase System Administrators can now configure SAML SSO settings independently for the User Application and Admin Application through a step-by-step configuration wizard, accessible from System Configuration. The redesigned interface organizes configuration into two independent application tabs — User Application and Admin Application — each containing three wizard steps: Service Provider, Identity Provider, and Review & Save.

Basic configuration fields are visible by default, while advanced options for each section are revealed through per-section checkboxes, keeping the interface uncluttered during routine configuration. Existing configuration values are automatically migrated to the new layout without requiring re-entry. Each application’s configuration is saved through a single global Save action, and changes to one application’s settings do not affect the other.

Office 365 Connector Renamed to Office 365 - Calendar

#ID 1594363

The Office 365 connector has been enhanced and renamed to Office 365 - Calendar to more accurately reflect its supported functionality. The connector continues to provide configuration for Office 365 Calendar and Outlook features, with the updated name appearing wherever the connector is configured or managed.

Bug Fixes

We’ve addressed the following bugs in this version of eCase Platform:

ID

Description

1589698

Fixed an issue in TimeXpress that prevented backup approvers from viewing employee timesheets in the “Edit/View Timesheet of:”. The drop-down menu now correctly includes employees for whom the logged-in user is designated as either the primary supervisor or backup approver, ensuring appropriate access to timesheets.

1591691

Resolved an issue with the User Manual links within TimeXpress that directed users to the legacy OPEXUS documentation site. The links have been corrected to navigate to the current Casepoint Help Center, ensuring users can successfully access the User Manual.

1591807

Resolved an issue where forms configured for auto-save failed to restore previously entered data after a session timeout and re-login. Auto-save now correctly captures and restores data across all eligible form sections, including hidden sections, ensuring that previously entered information is retained when the session is resumed.

1591865

Resolved an issue that prevented custom views from loading on the Pending By Office page. Custom views now load successfully across supported office code and filter configurations.

1593303

Resolved an issue that prevented published downtime messages from appearing immediately in eCase. A standard page refresh, eliminating the need for additional administrative intervention.

1600731

Resolved an issue where file paths on Deliver Documents were not being sanitized for unwanted characters. Proper file name sanitization has now been implemented to ensure unwanted characters are removed and documents are delivered reliably.
