Several of the Block Types described in this section utilize the Expression Editor. Follow the steps below to create complex conditions using the Expression Editor.
When creating a Condition, click the Expression button to open the Expression Editor. The editor appears as shown below
NOTE: You can also view the condition in a code format by selecting the Expression button after you have filled out all 3 drop downs on the Condition Editor.

Construct your condition, expression, or value using the options in the Expression Editor
Ref | Description |
A | The Expression text box is where you can build your condition, either by manually inputting the expression, or by selecting items in the Tokens or Operators sections |
B | A list of all the Operators that can be used in your condition |
C | The Tokens panel has a list of Variables, Parameters, Functions, and Constants. Use the adjacent arrows to view the options in each category. If a Variable or Parameter has properties, you can drill down through to select a property at second or third level. Constants are the list of pre-defined eCASE constants For a full list of Functions available for use in Expressions, see section 1.7. |
D | Click OK to close the Condition Editor and save your changes. |
E | Click Cancel to close the Condition Editor without saving any changes. |
After constructing your expression, click OK to close the Condition editor and save your changes
