The following tips and tricks can make your FOIAXpress work environment more user-friendly:
In the FOIAXpress Search feature, the asterisk (*) is used as a wildcard character. Wild cards are used to represent missing/unknown information. The Search feature is available for most steps in the Request tracking process to reduce extensive search time. Using this feature, you can search for Requests by Request number, status, or related details
On all Search screens, click Enter after entering search criteria to search. Double-click any object to edit
Press Escape to close the current pop-up screen
Use the Refresh button to reload information. This button is provided on all action screens
The Clear button will clear the information that you have entered so that you can enter new information
Click View More from the Dashboard to open graphs in a new window, where the full list can be viewed
Anywhere in the system that uses checkboxes utilizes the Ctrl+Select and Ctrl+Shift+Select to select more than one checkbox, or a range of checkboxes, respectively. To select more than one checkbox, hold down Ctrl, then select the checkboxes. Similarly, use Ctrl+Shift to select a range of checkboxes
Access the Correspondence Log for any request quickly from the Request Information screen. Clicking the Correspondence Log icon (located beside the Request Number on the Request Information screen) opens the Correspondence Log for that request
