Access the FOIAXpress Help Menu by clicking Help from the top-right of the User Interface:

The following options are available under the Help menu:

Description

Error Log

An Error Log records any error that occurs in the application software, usually in simple/plain text (ASCII). The System Administrator will retrieve, review and rectify the processing errors.

The Error Log records and displays instances of errors and abnormal activity that occurred while using FOIAXpress. The log file displays information from the afxslog.txt file. The log file can be viewed and saved to your hard disk and inform your Administrator (System or FOIAXpress) about the errors.

To steps to view the Error Log are ; go to Home > Help > Error Log. It will open the Error Log screen. To save the file, click Save Log and the error log file will be saved as "log.txt" in the selected location.

About FOIAXpress

About this version of FOIAXpress. This includes Version Number, License information, the Serial Key, and options to Export License and Email License.

The Export License option will prompt the user to download the license, while the Email License option sends an email to the FX support address with a pre-filled message requesting a License Key.
