Import Correspondence Template

When creating a Correspondence Template, you have the option to import an existing template. You can also edit this template after it has been imported.

ATIPXpress also supports importing Word Template files, allowing for use of preferred styles in correspondence.

Steps to Import a Correspondence Template

  1. Click Administration > System Configuration > Correspondence Templates. The Correspondence Templates (Request) screen displays as shown below.

  2. Accept the default value Request or select Memo.

NOTE: The import feature is only available for Request and Memo Templates.

  1. Click New. The system will begin the process of activating the appropriate application to bring the Correspondence Template into view. This may take several seconds.

  2. Click Import. The Choose File to Upload window displays as shown below.

  3. Select a file to import as a Correspondence Template.

NOTE: The file must be in .doc, .docx, or .dotx format.

  1. Click Open. The imported file displays as a Correspondence Template as shown below.

  2. Edit the template as needed using the options described in the Edit Correspondence Template section.

  3. Click Save. A verification message displays as shown below.

  4. Click OK. The imported template displays on the Correspondence Templates screen.
