Mass Request Assignments

Requests can also be reassigned to users on a mass scale. Instead of assigning one Request, all Requests (either from single Requester or of the same type) can be combined and assigned at once to another user, user group, or group queue, so that one response can be processed and compiled for all Requests.

NOTE: To use Mass Request Assignment, users need to have the "Mass Request Assignment" Permission.

Steps to Perform Mass Request Assignment

  1. Click Administration > Request Management > Mass Request Assignments. The Mass Assignment screen displays as shown below.

  2. Enter search any criteria as necessary, then click Search. A list of Requests matching the search criteria appears on the Mass Assignment screen as shown below.

  3. Select one or more Requests to be assigned.

  4. The Job Progress window displays as shown below.

  5. After the Job Status changes to "Completed", click Close Window.

  6. Click Mass Assign. A verification message displays. Click OK to perform mass assignment on the selected Request(s). A screen displays as shown below.

  7. Select the user(s) you want to mass assign the selected Request(s), then click Assign.

  8. A verification message displays as shown below. Click Yes to save the assignment selections.
