Merging is the process of combining two Requesters' profiles of the same type into one. When merging two profiles, the first profile's data will be discarded and the second profile's data will be retained. Users with the "Merge Requester" Permission can perform this action.
Steps to Merge Requester History
Click Administration > Request Management > Merge Requester History. The Merge Requester History screen displays as shown below.

Click the button to the right of the Source Requester field. The Search Requesters window displays as shown below:

Enter search criteria as necessary, then click Search. The Requesters screen will be displayed as shown below.

Select the desired Requester from the grid, then click Select. The selected Requester will automatically populate the Source Requester field.

Click the button to the right of the Target Requester field. The Search Requesters window displays as shown below.

Enter search criteria as necessary, then click Search. The Requesters screen displays as shown below.

Select the desired Requester from the grid, then click Select. The selected Requester will automatically populate the Target Requester field.

Click Merge. A verification message displays as shown below.

Click OK to merge the Requesters.
If you clicked Continue, the Merge Requester History screen will change to display the confirmation message shown below. If you clicked Cancel, you will be returned to the Merge Requester History screen.

Click OK to confirm.
NOTE: If the Source Requester has a PAL account and the Target Requester does not, a message displays as shown below. Click Continue to merge the Requesters or Cancel to abort.
