Deleted requests are temporarily held in the Request Recycle Bin for a configurable number of days before they are permanently removed from the system. Requests in the Request Recycle Bin are excluded from general search and reporting in the application. However, Administrators have the ability to search requests within the Request Recycle Bin and restore these if needed prior to permanent deletion.
Search and Restore Requests from the Request Recycle Bin
Click Administration > System Administration > Request Recycle Bin. The Request Recycle Bin window displays as shown below:

Use the fields on this screen to locate requests in the Request Recycle Bin. These are described in the following table.

Request Type | Use the drop-down to select one or more specific Request Types |

Search in Sub Requests | Select this checkbox to also search all sub requests when using the Description search |
Deleted By | Use the lookup to search using specific system user(s) who deleted the request |
Action Office | Use the lookup to select deleted requests from a specific Action Office |
Request Status | Use the drop-down to select one or more Request Status(es) |
Request Owner | Use the lookup to search for requests from specific Request Owner(s) |
Requests Assigned To | These fields allow you to search using information about who was assigned to the deleted request(s) |
Action Office (User) | Use the drop-down to select an Action Office associated with the assigned User |
Assigned to User | Select the type of user to search, either the Assigned User or the Primary User. You can also select the Include Inactive Users checkbox to include inactive users in the search results. |
User Group | Use the drop-down to select the User Group associated with the assinged User |
User | Use the lookup to select a User and search assigned deleted requests |
After entering search criteria, click (A) Search to view the results list:

The search results appear in the (B) Requests View [Search] list. To restore a deleted request, select it from the list then click (C) Restore. The request is then restored to the pre-deletion status.
