eCASE has the ability to run saved reports at regularly scheduled intervals and automatically distribute the output to configured recipients.
Access Scheduled Reports
You can access your Scheduled Reports from the Reports List. Click (A) Reports from the Main Menu, then click (B) Scheduled Reports:

The Report Scheduling screen appears as shown below. See the following Report Scheduling Interface section for details:

Scedule a Report
Follow the steps below to create a new scheduled report.
From the Launch Pad, click Reports.
From the Reports List, click Scheduled Reports.
At your Report Scheduling screen, click New. The New Scheduled Report screen appears as shown below:

Under Report Based On, first use the drop-down to selet a Report Type, then use the next drop-down to Select Report Criteria.
Under Schedule Information, enter a Schedule Name that will appear in your Report Scheduling list. You can also add a Description in the field provided.
You are required to enter the Start Date/Time.

You are also required to provide the Repeat for every parameter, determining how often the report is run.
Under Email Information, use the fields provided to configure the recipient information for the scheduled report. At the intervals determined above, the system automatically sends the report output to the recipients you define here. You are required to provide the recipient (To field), an Attachment Name, select an output Format, and provide a Subject for the email.

Note: Under Format, the XML option is only avilable for scheduling Crystal Reports.
When the timing and email parameters are entered, click Save to save the scheduled report. The report is now available in your scheduled reports list for further action as needed.
Schedule Log
The eCASE Report Scheduler maintains a log of when scheduled reports were started and completed. You can view the log for a specific scheduled report from the Report Scheduler Screen (Reports > Scheduled Reports). Simply click the report you'd like to view then click Schedule Log. The log appears as shown in the following example:

The log includes the date and time for each event as well as a Status. You can select an entry and click View Job Log to view specific details about that job.
At the Report Scheduler screen, you can also click Clear Schedule Log to clear the log for a selected report.
