Search for Requesters

The Search Requesters feature allows you to search for Requesters saved in your application. We recommend searching for a requester before creating a new one to streamline the request creation process and avoid creating duplicate requesters.

Basic Rules for Searches

The basic rules for formulating queries in full-text searches are:

  • Searches are not case-sensitive so you can type your search in uppercase or lowercase characters.

  • You may search for any combination of letters (a-z) and numbers (0-9).

  • Punctuation marks such as the period, colon, semicolon, comma, and hyphen are ignored during a search.

Steps to Search Requesters

  1. From the top toolbar, click Requesters > Search Requesters. The Search Requesters screen displays as shown below.

  2. Enter information in the Search Criteria fields to locate the Requester. These fields are described below:

Field

Description

First Name

The first name of the Requester.

Last Name

The surname of the Requester.

Organization

The name of the establishment the Requester represents or is employed at.

Category

A list of Requester categories. "All" is the default value, and if accepted as the search criterion, all categories will be included in the results.

Delinquent

Indicates whether the Requester has any delinquent payments

Email Address

The Requester email address.

City

The name of the city the Requester is located in.

Country

The name of the country the Requester is located in.

State

The name of the state the Requester is located in.

PAL Requester

Indicates whether the Requester is registered in the PAL

  1. Click Search. A list of Requesters matching the search criteria displays.

NOTE: Wildcard Searches (*) are supported. If you have entered the wildcard expression "A*" in the First Name field (the asterisk "*" represents “missing” information), all Requesters whose first name begins with “A” are returned.

Tips for Searching

  1. Enter the Requester details, such as First Name, Last Name, Organization, Category, PAL Requester, Email Address, City, Country, or State to search for Requesters.

  2. Select the financial status of the Requester in the Delinquent field to search for the Requesters who have a pending balance. If you choose Yes, the system directs you to the Requester’s screen whose financial status is delinquent. If you choose No, the system will display Requesters whose financial status is not delinquent.

  3. A custom field is a unique identifier for each Requester. Enter the correct custom field information to reduce the search time.

  4. Click Search without entering any search data to retrieve all Requester records (Only if default wildcards are selected).
