The Set field’s multiple values statement can be used to modify the values of repeating fields within repeating tables. The repeating field you wish to modify can be selected from the Repeating Field drop down. In the Value Expression text box, you can click the Expression Editor button to define the value that is set.
In some instances, it may be necessary to exclude a repeating field from having its value changed. By default the Condition text box’s value is True, which means every field is modified. By clicking the Expression Editor button in the Condition text box, you can write a condition that will cause the rule to only modify a repeating field when the condition is true. The following example shows a statement that populates blank repeating fields, and a statement that updates a value in a row specified by a field:
