Step 3 creates the basic application Data Model. The Data Model determines what information is captured in the case form and how that information is captured.
Each case type can have case-specific fields which are only used and available within that case type. In Step 3, youāll create case-specific fields for the case type you created in the previous step. These fields are used to create a case form for capturing information about the case. This form can be modified later using the UI Designer. See the UI Designer section for more details.

Here there are options to add (A) Non-repeating fields, (B) Repeating Groups, and to select the (C) Form Template. Each of these is covered in the following subsections. Both non-repeating fields and repeating field groups use the same set of available Field Types, described in the Field Types section.
A sample case form is shown below, with the data model elements highlighted. Non-repeating fields capture information once, while Repeating Groups can capture groups of data multiple times. Also note the different Field Types, including (A) Date, (B) Lookup dropdown, and (C) Lookup Search.
