System Jobs

Users can view all jobs performed by the system, scheduling information, and edit certain Job Information.

Steps to View/Edit a System Job

  1. Click Administration > Jobs > System Jobs. The System Jobs window displays.

List of system jobs with their descriptions, run dates, and active status.

  1. Select a job to view and edit and double click (or highlight and click Edit).

  2. The Edit Log window displays as shown in the example below:

  1. This page lists the following information. Note only a few fields on this page are editable.

Field

Description

Job Name

Assigned name for the system job

Description

Internal description for the system job (editable)

Active

Select this checkbox to mark the job as active and run as scheduled

Last Run Date

Date and time the job was last run

Next Run Date

Date and time the job is next scheduled to run

Frequency Mode

Mode determining frequency with which job is run

Frequency

Number of units (frequency mode, above) between jobs

Status

Current status of job

Scheduler Name

Internal name for the job scheduler

Trace Level

Select On to record errors with this job in the error log, or Off to exclude errors from this job

Last Reported Error

Details of the last error reported with this job

  1. Click Save to save any changes, Clear Job Log to clear the Last Reported Error, or Back to return without making changes
