Users can take action on requests for documents that have been sent.

Steps to Take Action on Requests for Documents

  • Open a Request for which a request for documents was sent.

  • Click Request for Documents.

  • Select the request for documents on which you want to perform an action, then click Take Action. The Take Action screen will be displayed as shown below.

  • Enter information in the fields described below as necessary.

Field

Description

Action Date

Date of the new action. The current date will be selected by default.

Status

Status, as selected from the drop-down menu.

Comments

Any comments, as necessary.

Due Date

Date the action is due to be completed

Complete

Action has been completed (on selection, the Completed Date field appears)

Completed Date

Date the action was completed

Attachment

Attachments for the action, as added from the Drag and Drop Zone, or by clicking Scan File or Attach File

  • Click Save.

NOTE: The Completed Date field on the Request for Documents screen is empty by default. A request for documents will not be considered completed until a Completed Date is entered.The Actions Log is displayed on the Request for Documents screen. Attachments can also be added to the Request for Documents and Consultation Review Logs when taking action on a line item.To view actions from the Action(s) Log screen, select an Action Log item, then click View Details.An authorized user can create as many request for document statuses as needed and can make them active. The user cannot edit the predefined request for document statuses "Request for Documents Sent" and "Request for Documents Pending". All active statuses appear on the Status list on the Request for Documents screen.
