The optional Redact Using AI Assistant feature allows users to apply standardized redaction templates to documents in Document Management. The AI Assistant streamlines the redaction process, allowing users to apply a standard redaction set quickly and easily.
NOTE: FOIAXpress must have the AI Redaction feature enabled, and must be populated with Redaction Templates, in order to use AI Redaction.
Redact Using AI Assistant
To redact documents using the AI Assistant in Document Management, follow the steps below:
Open a document in Document Management. The pages should not contain any existing review layers. An example DM screen is shown below:

From the left-hand Navigation pane, locate a page to apply Ai Redaction, then right click to bring up the Context Menu, then select Redact Using AI Assistant:

The Redact Using AI Assistant screen appears, with all existing Redaction Templates listed, as shown below:

Select a Redaction Template from the list, then select an Action. The template can be applied using Find & Redact.
NOTE: All redactions in the Redaction Template will have the same action applied (depending on the selection made here)
After selecting a template and action, the Review Layer Options screen appears as shown below, with options to modify and existing layer or to create a new layer. Select Create new review layer, provide a Name in the field, then click OK:

The Job Progress screen appears while the job processes, as shown in the sample below:

When the job completes, the Job Status updates to Completed. Click Close Window to close the pop-up:

The Document Management window appears, with the redactions applied per the selected Redaction Template and Action. An example is shown below:
