To assign a workflow to a default user or group, first navigate to the Assignments screen. From the Assignments screen, select the task to be assigned and click Assign to assign the selected task to a new assignee(s):

The fields on this screen are described below:
Field | Description |

Activity | The name of the task that is being assigned (automatically set based on the name of the selected task) |
Role | The role that is responsible for completing the task (automatically set based on the role responsible for the selected task) |
Assignee Type | A dropdown list of the possible Assignee Types. This field will initially be populated with the Assignee Type that is associated to the selected task via the workflow. The next options are dependent on which Assignee Type is chosen: |
Complete Multi-User Task When | This option only appears when the Assignee Type has multiple assignees (Users/Office Queue, Group, and User Choice List). There are two options: · All assignments are completed: all of the assignees must complete the assignment in order for the task to be completed · Any assignment is completed: only one assignee has to complete the assignment in order for the task to be completed |
Turnaround Days & Days Based On | Turnaround Days: The number of days allotted to complete the task. Additionally, determine how the days are counted using the Days Based On field: · Calendar Days: all days are counted in the turnaround days, including weekends · Business Days: only business days are counted in the turnaround days; weekends and holidays are excluded |
Click Assign or Assign to All Offices to assign the task. Assign to All Offices makes the selected Assignee the default user/group for all offices for the selected workflow role. Assign will make the default assignment for the selected office and selected workflow role.
