Inherit Base Model
Inherit Base Model allows you to view and inherit the application fields that are available to use within the case type. A window pops up where you can select the application fields you wish to use. If you select a repeating field, the repeating field group is also automatically inherited by the case type data model.

If you want to remove an application field from the case type data model, deselect the field from the Inherit Base Model window. After saving, the fields are removed from the case type data model. You can also use the Delete button to delete the field.
For general data model configuration details that apply across all case types, see General Features – Base Model.
Only users with the System Administrator role can add, edit, copy, and delete fields in the Data Model.
