The actions available on the Contact Type Data Model Configuration screen are described below:

New | Associate a new contact field type to the data model In the new window, select one or more field names. Click Select when done, and the fields will appear in the Contact Data Model. The contact field can then be associated with a specific group by editing the field [TS4] . |

Edit | Edit the selected contact field Field Name: The name of the selected field; this is not editable, as it is defined in the Admin Settings, under Contact Custom Fields. Associated Section: The field group with which this field will be associated Form View Order: The ordering of the field for the associated section on the form Required: When enabled, this field must be filled out when creating a new contact for this contact type Duplication Filter: when enabled, the system will check to see if any other contact has the same input for this particular field. The input for this field must be unique: each user must have different input for this field.
