The Settings page configures the contact Name, Category and more:

Internal Name | The internal name auto-populates based on the Name field |
Description | A brief description of the Contact Type |
Category | Determines the category of the contact: None, Individual, Organization, or Both. |
Is Contact Type Global | When enabled, the Contact Type is included in the global contact list. This means that the contact type is present for all case types and applications across the system |
