Follow the steps below to conduct a duplicate request search, which identifies potentially duplicated requests and allows you to link related requests.

Steps to Conduct a Duplicate Request Search

  1. Open the Request for which you want to conduct a duplicate search.

  2. On the Request Information tab, click the Duplicate Check button:

  3. The Duplicate Request screen appears as shown below. Any potential duplicate requests are listed here, and you can click the hyperlink under the Request # column to view these requests.

  4. To link a request, click the Checkbox beside that request. You can also click the checkbox at the top of the column to select all.

  5. When all requests to be linked are selected, click Link Duplicate Request(s).

  6. A confirmation message appears. Click OK to close. The requests are now linked.
