New Configurable Fields in Evidence Module
#ID 1577330
Eleven new configurable fields are now available in the Evidence module, enabling agencies to capture additional evidence and property details without any new setup screens. The new fields — three date fields (Date Acquired, Date Filed, Evidence Return Date), four user-selection drop-downs (Property Owner, Property Type, Received By, Released By), and four multiline text fields (Released To, Column Case Number, Remedy Case Number, Evidence Source) — appear in the existing Evidence Field Configuration grid, where each field can be independently enabled, set as required, or disabled.
All eleven fields are hidden by default, ensuring that existing environments are unaffected until a configurator explicitly enables them through the existing Evidence Field Configuration settings.
Terminology Configuration Support for Is Grand Jury in Chron Log
#ID 1580483
Administrators can now customize the display label of the “Is Grand Jury?” field in the Chron Log module through the platform’s Terminology Configuration. The default label remains “Is Grand Jury?” for all existing environments, ensuring no change in behavior or display unless an administrator explicitly updates it. The configured label is reflected wherever the field appears within the Chron Log module.
