Normal operations such as editing/deleting Folders can be performed directly from the navigation tree. Users can edit/delete any Folder where they have this Permission.
Steps to Edit Folder Details
Click Document Management > Search Folders.
Enter any necessary search criteria to locate the Folder you want to edit.
Click Search.
From the search results, select the checkbox to the left of the Folder you want to edit.
Click Open Folders. The Folder will open in Document Management as shown below.

Right-click the folder you want to edit, and then click Modify Folder Details. The Modify Folder Details window displays as shown below.
Note: If the following message appears, click Yes, select a review layer, click Load, and then repeat step 6:


Edit the Folder Properties as necessary.
Click Update. A verification message displays as shown below.

Click OK.
Note: Users with the required Permissions can modify Folder Declassification Information. Otherwise the fields are disabled and not editable.
Steps to Delete a Folder
Click Document Management > Search Folders.
Enter any necessary search criteria to locate the Folder you want to delete.
Click Search.
From the search results, select the checkbox to the left of the Folder you want to delete.
Click Open Folders. The Folder will open in Document Management as shown below.

Right-click the Folder you want to delete, click Delete Folder, and then click OK when the confirmation message appears.
Note: If the following message appears, click No, and then repeat step 6

Note: You cannot delete Folders that have been added to a Request Folder.
