The Fiscal Year is an organization's fiscal (financial or accounting) period of twelve months. Often the fiscal year does not coincide with the calendar year. Configuration of the fiscal year involves setting the calendar for financial year according to your agency's guidelines, i.e., setting the beginning date and the ending date of the period.
To configure fiscal year, you need to decide the fiscal year starting date and ending date. Only the administrator of eCASE and users belonging to the Admin group are entitled to set the fiscal year configuration. It is strongly advised to configure the fiscal year before you start using the application. You can alter this configuration at any time, but changing the fiscal year will have adverse effects on the application.
Navigate to Settings > Application Management > Fiscal Year Configuration
Application: This option allows you to select an application.
Fiscal Year: This option allows you to edit the current Fiscal Year.
Fiscal Year Starts: This option allows you to edit the date in which the Fiscal Year will start.
Fiscal Year Ends: This option allows you to edit the date in which the Fiscal Year will end.
