The Properties menu allows you to configure the specific properties of items in the Report Designer Workspace.

Note: Some of the items here will not appear if you are working with charts, sub reports, and page breaks.

Actions

The Actions menu allows you to control the data sources of the selected item, add additional sections to the canvas, and align selected elements.

Styles

The Styles menu allows you to configure the style for the selected item in the Report Designer. Styles refer to the custom configuration applied to the text used by a selected item. The available styles depend on the item you are working with.

Appearance

The Appearance menu allows you to configure the appearance of items in the report, such as labels, column headers, rows, etc. Each item can be configured in different ways, but generally, the Appearance customization options are focused on the visual appearance of the selected item.

Behavior

The Behavior menu allows you to configure the behavior of items in the report, such as the item name, its visibility, export options, etc. The rules configured in this section govern how the selected item acts based upon fixed behavior.

Data

The Data menu allows you to configure the data parameters for an item.

Design

The Design menu allows you to configure the design of the selected item, including how the selected item interacts with nearby items.

Layout

The Layout menu allows you to configure the size of selected item in the Report Designer.

Navigation

The Navigation menu allows you configure the bookmark/hyperlink information in the Reports Designer.

Page Settings

The Page Settings menu allows you to configure the page layout options for the report.

Printing

The Printing menu allows you to configure the parameters utilized when the report is printed.
