The Reports Configuration screen allows users with the required Permissions to set the Base Year and Annual Report information for pre-configured reports, such as Annual Reports, Billing Reports, Request Management Reports, and Document Reports.

Steps to Configure Reports

  1. Click Administration > System Configuration > Reports Configuration. The Reports Configuration screen displays as shown below.

When Generating Reports for the Year, the Base Year is

The default year from which reports will be generated. You can configure this option to the oldest year of data you have if data was migrated as part of the FOIAXpress implementation. If data was not migrated, the most recent year allowable is 2006. This configuration does not affect the calendar controls in fields such as Between Dates.

Annual Report (Provides details for all FOIA activity during the fiscal period.)

Calculate Median Number of Days as

Indicates how the median number of days will be calculated. By default Closed Date - Received Date will be selected. This option calculates the median number of days between the Closed and Received dates of a Request.

Allow Import/Export FOIAXpress XML data

Allows users within the organization to share or import Annual Report data through the proprietary FOIAXpress XML format.

Allow Export Annual Raw Data in OIP Format

Allows users to export Annual Report data in the US Department of Justice, Office of Information Policy (OIP) required format.

Remove All Action Office Line Items with "0" Values

Allows users to configure Annual Report Data for Action Offices when values are null.

  1. Click Save. A confirmation message displays.

  2. Click OK.
