Request Status Report

The Request Status Report provides the status of Requests by Request Type for a selected time period. This is useful for tracking the total number of Requests received, closed, and opened for a particular Request Type. You MUST have the Request Reports Privilege to work with this report type.

Steps to Generate a Request Status Report

  1. Click Reports > Request Management Reports > Request Status. The Request Status screen displays as shown below. For instructions on configuring permissions and a report schedule, see the instructions under the Custom Reports section.

  2. To load saved report criteria, select the criteria you want to load from the Select Saved Report Criteria drop-down menu, and then proceed to step 5. To create a new report, proceed to step 3.

  3. Click Next. The Request Status screen displays as shown below.

  1. Enter information in the following fields as needed:

Requests Received

Between the Dates

Generate the report for Requests received within a specified date range. If selected, also select two dates to determine the date range. Optionally, select the Current Day drop-down menu and select an option from the menu.

For the Week

Generate the report for Requests received within a specified week. If selected, also select Current, Last, or Week Of Date. If you select Current or Last, you can adjust the From and To dates using the calendar icons. If you select Week Of Date, also select a Date using the calendar icon. Optionally, select the Compare with Previous Week checkbox to compare the selected week with the previous week, and select an option under the Group By drop-down menu.

For the Month

Generate the report for Requests received within a specified month. If selected, also select a Month and Year from the drop-down menus. Optionally, select the Compare with Previous Month checkbox to compare the selected month with the previous month.

For the Year

Generate the report for Requests received within a selected year. If selected, also select Calendar Year of Fiscal Year, and select a Year from the drop-down menu. To compare the selected year with the previous year select the Compare with Previous Year checkbox and select a Base Year from the drop-down menu. To include a breakdown by month, select the Include Breakdown By Month checkbox.

Year to Date

Generate the report for Requests received from a selected year to the current date. If selected, also select a Year from the drop-down menu. To compare the selected year with the previous year select the Compare with Previous Year checkbox and select a Base Year from the drop-down menu. To include a breakdown by month, select the Include Breakdown By Month checkbox.

Include Fields

Include Action Office

Include Action Offices in the report.

Filter Options

Action Office(s)

Action Office(s), as selected from the drop-down menu.

Request Type

Request Type(s) to include in the report. All will be selected by default.

NOTE: To save report criteria, click Save Report Criteria, enter the name of the Report Criteria in the space provided, and then click Save.

  1. Click Generate. The Requests Status Report displays as shown below:

6. Clicking View Details to view the Raw Data of the generated report. The following window displays:
