Save Folder to Disk

Users have the ability to save folders from Document Management onto their local disk.

Steps to Save a Folder to Disk

  1. Click Document Management > Search Folders.

  2. Enter any necessary search criteria to locate the Folder you want to save.

  3. Click Search.

  4. From the search results, select the checkbox to the left of the Folder you want to save.

  5. Click Open Folders. The Folder will open in Document Management as shown below.



  1. Select the Folder you want to save.

  2. Click the Save to Disk icon on the toolbar at the top of the screen. The Save to Disk window displays as shown below.

If a message appears asking "Do you want to load an existing review layer?", click No and repeat step 7

  1. Edit information in the available fields as needed. These are described in the table below:

Specify a page range to be saved

Redactions/Review Options

Include

Select from the list which page types to include in the export. Options include Redacted Pages Only, Non Redacted Pages, Redacted and Non Redacted Pages, Include Fully Redacted Pages, Include Pages with Review Objects, Hide Codes, and Hide Redactions Borders. There is also the option to specify Document Review Flags.

Fill Mode

Select the fill mode: Options are Opaque, Translucent, Transparent and Original

Include Review Objects

Select the review objects: Options are Comments, Ellipse, Highlight, Stamp, Straight Line and Sticky Note.

Headers and Footers

Bates Stamping

Enable Bates Stamping. If selected, also enter a Prefix and Suffix, and select a Bates Format from the drop-down menu.

(!!) Note: If the Bates Stamping checkbox is selected and a document is configured without Bates Stamping information, the following error message displays:
"The following folder(s)/section(s) [Folder 'test' of File Cabinet 'Program Office C'] does not contain a Bates Stamping Prefix/Suffix. Do you want to continue?"
Click Yes to continue with current page numbering, or click No to return to the folder and enter a Bates Stamping Prefix and Suffix.

Insert Page Numbers

Page numbers will be inserted

Start Number

Start number of document numbering. Options are Document # or Batch Start #. If you select Batch Start #, enter a number in the space provided.

Leading zeroes

Include zeroes before page numbers.

Page Format

Page Format, as selected from the drop-down menu.

Position

Position for headers and footers, as selected from the drop-down menu.

Font

Font Name and Font Size for the headers and footers, as selected from their respective drop-down menus.

Margin (Inches)

Size of the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom margin, in inches

Include Annotation Text

Include Annotation Text

Include Annotation Text in the published documents.

Position

Position for annotated text, as selected from the drop-down menu.

Font

Font Name and Font Size for annotation text, as selected from their respective drop-down menus.

Margin (Inches)

Size of the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom margins, in inches

  1. After all fields are edited as needed, the following actions can be taken:

Save Fully Redacted Page(s) Summary

You can click Save Fully Redacted Page(s) Summary from the Save to Disk window to print or save a summary of redactions applied to the document(s). If you click Save Fully Redacted Page(s) Summary and the document was not fully redacted, the system will generate a message indicating "No fully redacted pages found".

Preview Pages

You can click Preview Pages to view the documents with the settings selected on the Save to Disk window.

Cancel

Cancel saving the folder to your local drive

NOTE: When saving a document, the system will automatically detect and retain the page orientation.

  1. Click OK. The Job Progress screen displays as shown below.

  1. After the job is completed, click Download. The following window displays on the bottom of the screen:

  1. Click one of the following options:

You can click this button to open the folder and view its contents.

Save

You can click the Save arrow, and then click one of the following options: Save, Save as, Save and open.

Cancel

You can click this button to cancel the pending download.

  1. Click Close Window.
