Setup Permissions

Users or User Groups can be given permissions to manage different setup data. Setup permissions provide flexibility and granularity so that non system or application administrators can manage setup data for the application. These permissions can be given to users and users groups in the system.

Navigate to Settings > System Configuration > Setup Permissions, and here you are able to view permissions to give to a user or user group per application.

Add a User or Group to Setup Permissions

Navigate to Settings > System Configuration > Setup Permissions > Grant Permissions, here you can either type in the username or group name of the user you wish to add or click the address book icon to select from the list of users or groups in eCASE.

Once you have selected the user/group that you wish to add, select the permission(s) that you would like to grant to the selected user/group by selecting the checkbox next to each permission.
