Task Assignment settings configure how task assignments function and behave within the workflow:

Description

Allow Assignments for Groups

Allows tasks to be assigned to groups

Show Advanced Tab in Assignment Screen

When assigning a task, a window that pops up allowing the user to configure the assignment. Enabling this option will show an Advanced tab in the window with options to further configure the assignment

Is Turnaround Days Required

When enabled, Turnaround Days become a required field and must be set in order for a task to be completed.

When assigning tasks, there is a ‘Due Days Type’ and ‘Due Days’ field in the task assignment window. There are two Due Days types: Turnaround Days, and Planned Due Days. When either of the Due Days Types are set to be required through their respective settings in Workflow Features, an asterisk will appear, indicating that Due Days must be set before the task can be assigned.

Make Turnaround Days Read Only

The Due Days set for Turnaround Days become read-only, and cannot be changed within the application.

Is Planned Due Days Required

When enabled, Planned Due Days will become a required field and must be set in order for a task to be completed. Please refer to the “Is Turnaround Days Required” setting for more information

Synchronize Workflow Roles with Folders

If enabled, users will be assigned to roles in the project team tab based on the user assignments to workflow roles and when workflow roles match with team roles.
