General settings configure the workflow for the case folder:

Workflow Start Mode

There are three options for the Workflow Start Mode- Auto, Prompt, and Manual

  • Auto: The workflow will automatically begin once the case folder is created

  • Prompt: Before the workflow begins, a prompt will be delivered to the user to give the user the ability to start the workflow, or to not start it. The prompt text can be changed in the Workflow start message.

  • Manual: To start a workflow, the user will manually navigate within the folder to start the workflow. This action can be accessed within a case folder, by navigating to Actions > Start

Message to be displayed when the workflow begins

Suppress the assignment notification screen

Enabling the Suppress the assignment notification screen option will prevent assignment notification windows from appearing upon completion of a task. Useful when you have already assigned all the tasks.

Associated Office Code

Offices from the Available Office section can be associated with the workflow by moving the office to the Associated Office section

Hide Role when assigning activity

When tasks are assigned, the task assigner’s role will be hidden from the task assignee
