Task Reminders alert the user to pending Request tasks. ATIPXpress checks to see if there are any Task Reminders associated with Request target dates or due dates for scheduled tasks on pending Requests. You can also view pending tasks in the My Work Summary section of the Home Page. Before you begin processing a Request, you can set up Task Reminders to remind you to finish a specific task by a specific date. You cannot create Task Reminders for tasks that have, or are deemed to have already been performed. For example, if the current status of a Request is "Documents Added", you cannot create a Task Reminder for the "Perfect Request" action, as this action has already been performed.
If you have created a Task Reminder for the "Estimate Cost" task, and you have created an invoice for the Request before estimating the cost, the Task Reminder for the "Estimate Cost" task becomes inactive, as the data from the Billing screen will automatically be added to the Estimate Cost screen. This Task Reminder may also become inactive when the payment status of the Request is "Fee Waiver Granted" or "Paid." The Task Reminder for the "Billing" task becomes inactive when you create an invoice for the Request. The Task Reminder for the "Estimate Cost" task will become inactive if the cost has been estimated.

On the Task Reminders screen, you can view the following information for any existing Task Reminders:

Task | The task for which a Task Reminder has been created. |
Active? | Indicates whether the Task Reminder has an "Active" or "Inactive" status: Active: The alert appears on the Home Page under the My Work Summary section. Inactive: The alert will not appear on the Home Page under the My Work Summary section. |
Due Date | The date the task is due. By default, the current date is used when creating the Task Reminder. |
Days Remaining | Number of days remaining until the due date. |
Created By | The user who created the reminder. |
Created Date | The date the reminder was created. |
Pending Task Reminders
Pending Task Reminders assigned to the logged-in user will be shown immediately upon login to ATIPXpress. This gives imminent Task Reminders high visibility.
An example Task Reminder pop-up is shown below:

Before committing any other action, select either Yes to view the reminders or No to dismiss the message and continue to the Home Page.
After clicking Yes, the Task Reminders screen appears as shown below:

All pending Task Reminders are listed on the Pending Task Reminders screen. Actions can be taken on Task Reminders directly from this screen. First, select a pending Task Reminder from the list, then select one of the following options:

Go to Request | Click this link to go directly to the Request associated with the Task Reminder |
Edit | Open and edit the Task Reminder details |
Dismiss | Dismiss the pending Task Reminder. This will remove the Task Reminder from the Pending list |
Dismiss For All | Dismiss all pending Task Reminders in the list. This will clear the entire Task Reminder list |
Print the selected Task Reminder (output includes the all field on this page) | |
Print All | Print all pending Task Reminders (output includes all items and fields on this page) |
View Details | View the details of the selected Task Reminder |
After reviewing pending Task Reminders, click the Home or FX link to return to the Home Page.
Create/Edit/Delete Task Reminders
Task Reminders can be created to remind users to complete a certain task related to Request processing. These can also be edited or deleted after creation.
Create Task Reminders
Open the Request for which you want to create Task Reminders.
Click Task Reminders. The Task Reminders screen displays as shown below.
Click New. The New Task Reminder screen displays as shown below.
On the New Task Reminder screen, enter information in the following fields as needed.

Task | Task for which you wish to add a reminder. |
Due Date | The date the task will be due. By default, the current date will be used. |
Active | The Task Reminder will be active. By default, the checkbox will be selected. |
Reminder Details | Additional details about the Task Reminder. |
Remind _ Days Before Due Date | The number of days before the Due Date a reminder will be received |
Click Save to save the new Task Reminder.
(!!) Note: Task Reminders cannot be created for completed tasks.
Edit Task Reminders
You can edit the reminder details and/or change the due date for an existing Task Reminder. Follow the steps below to edit a Task Reminder:
Open the Request for which you want to edit Task Reminders, then click Task Reminders. The Task Reminders screen displays.
Select the Task Reminder you want to edit, then click Edit. The Edit Task Reminder screen displays as shown below.
(!!) Note: You can also double-click on a Task Reminder to edit it, as an alternative to clicking Edit .
Edit the fields on this screen as needed.
Click Save to save the changes.
(!!) Note: The due date for a Task Reminder created for a request for documents cannot be modified.
Delete Task Reminders
You can delete any Task Reminder that has been created. Follow the steps below to Delete Task Reminders:
Open the Request for which you want to delete a Task Reminder.
Click Task Reminders. The Task Reminders screen displays.
Select the Task Reminder you want to delete.
Click Delete. A verification message displays.
Click OK.
