Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why am I unable to add PDF documents to Document Management?
A. You will need to open the Adobe Reader software (Acrobat Professional) after installation on the machine and before you add PDF documents to Document Management or deliver PDF documents. Otherwise, you may encounter the above problem while adding PDF documents.
It is recommended to open the Adobe Reader (Acrobat Professional) instance once after installation, prior to working with PDF documents.
Q. Why am I getting the following errors after setting up ATIPXpress in the client workstation?

A. This instance is due to blocking of XML content in the proxy server. To resolve this issue, you need to either explicitly specify the proxy settings for your application or bypass the proxy and access the ATIPXpress URL directly. You can also choose to enable the option āBypass Proxy Server for local addressesā to bypass any local addresses.
On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings.
Under Proxy server, click to select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.
In the Address box, type the IP address of the proxy server. In the Port box, type the port number that is used by the proxy server for client connections (by default, 8080).
You can click to select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box if you do not want the proxy server computer to be used when you connect to a computer on the local network (this may speed up performance).

Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog box.
Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.
Q. How do I resolve the following Error while uploading a large file as a Correspondence attachment?

A. Follow the below instructions to adjust the settings for uploading large files on IIS 7:
Open IIS Manager from Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
Click Sites > Default Web Site > ATIPXpress
In Features View, double-click Request Filtering.
In the Actions pane, click Edit Feature Settings.
In the Edit Request Filtering Settings dialog box, set the value of maximum allowed content length (Bytes) to your desired value.
Q. Why is it taking longer to load pages in Document Management?
A. Depending on your hardware configuration, loading a large amount of annotations for a page may lead to performance issues.
Q. Why do I get the following error message when I try to open the correspondence editor?

A. This message displays if you are using a self-signed certificate, or if you are using a domain certificate that has expired.
