In the Left Navigation, groups are collections of related links. Clicking the group expands the list of links in the group. Follow the steps below to create a new group in the left navigation panel.
NOTE: If a group in the Left Navigation configuration is empty (does not contains any links), it does not appear in the left navigation panel.
1. Navigate to the App Designer (Settings > Applications > App Designer), then click the Left Navigation option (under User Interface). The Left Navigation screen appears.
2. Click New Group to create a new group. The New Group screen appears as shown below:
3. Add a name for the group in the Label field. This is the label that appears in the UI’s left navigation panel.
4. Click Add. The Left Navigation screen refreshes with the new group added to the list.
