Access the Workflow Designer by starting a new workflow, or you can edit an existing workflow. The Workflow Designer User Interface is shown below:

The Workflow Designer has four main areas:

1 | Model Elements | Model Elements are the various parts of the workflow process, including Humans, Processes, Events and more. Drag and drop the various Model Elements to construct the workflow. See the Workflow Designer Model Elements for detailed descriptions of each element type. |
2 | Workflow Designer Workspace | This is the workspace used to build a workflow. Add and connect model elements to construct a business process. See the Workflow Designer Workspace section for more details. |
3 | Model Element Settings | The Model Element Settings pop-up window allows you to configure settings for each Model Element. The configuration options shown in this window are dependent upon the type of Model Element selected. Each are detailed in the Workflow Designer Model Elements section. |
4 | Toolbar | The Toolbar menu allows you to perform operations such as saving the current workflow, importing and exporting a workflow, printing the current workflow, validation, and adding roles. These are detailed in the Workflow Designer tools section. |
