Users can use the Email Log to track and view email information for a specific time period.

Steps to View Information in the Email Log

  1. Click Administration > Jobs > Email Log. The Email Log window displays as shown below.

NOTE: To view information about a specific email, double-click an email in the list or select an email and click View Email Details. The Email Details window displays as shown below.

Steps to Filter Email Log

Users can filter the Email Log screen using various search filters.

  1. Enter search criteria as necessary in the fields described below.

Field

Description

Filter By

Subject

The subject of the email.

Sender

The person who sent the email.

Created From

The date and time after which the email was created.

Status

The status of the email.

Source

The location within the application from which the email was sent.

Receiver

The email address of the person who received the email.

To

The date and time up to which the email was created.

  1. Click Search. The Email Log will be filtered based on the search criteria entered.

Email Log View for Support Users

When logged in as a support user (CP Support role), the Email Log displays with the following restrictions to protect sensitive information:

  • The Recipient Name, Sent To, and Resend columns are hidden.

  • For emails with a Success status, the email details are not accessible.

  • For emails with a Failed status, clicking the Date link displays only the following information: Date & Time, Status, and Error Information.

NOTE: Support users cannot resend emails. The Resend functionality is not available for the CP Support role.

Resend Emails

You have the option to resend emails from the Email Log. Follow the steps below to resend emails from within the Email Log:

  1. Use the Checkboxes to select the emails you'd like to resend (you can select more than one)

  2. Click Resend. A verification message appears as shown below. Click OK to continue.

  3. A confirmation appears noting that the emails were submitted to the SMTP server. Click OK to close.
