Reports Scheduling

Report Scheduling enables the system administrator to create and configure a report criteria that sends the reports to the desired recipients. This can be set on a time schedule in the desired format to receive via email. Furthermore, system reports includes audit trail, users, and user login reports.

To create, edit, and manage System Report Scheduling:

  1. Click Settings > System Configuration > System Configuration > Report Scheduling.

  1. After clicking Report Scheduling, the Report Scheduling dialog box appears.

  1. From the Report Scheduling dialog box, you can do the following:

  1. Click New to schedule a new job to send saved report criteria in a specific format to recipients on a defined schedule.

  2. Click Edit to change a scheduled report criteria

  3. Click Open Schedule Log to show the status, date, and time of each job that was run on the scheduled report.

  4. Click Clear Schedule Log to remove all entries from the Schedule Log.

  5. Click Delete to delete the scheduled report.

Creating a New Schedule:

  1. Clicking on New and you will see the screen below:

  1. Here you can select the Report type you want to schedule. In addition you can also select the Search Criteria for this report. You must create the report criteria prior to creating a schedule for the report.

  2. Once that is completed you can navigate to the Schedule tab to pick the schedule on which you want to run this report.

  1. We give the following options

  1. Schedule Name: If you would like to give a specific name for the schedule

  2. Description: Description to describe this schedule

  3. Start Date/Time: Specify the Data and Time when you would like to begin the report scheduling

  4. Repeat for every: Select how often you would like to report to send out. You can select where it should be sent every X amount of Minutes, Days, Months, Weeks, or even specify the Day of the Week/Month or Year, etc.

  5. Execute only on Business Days: Select this option to pick if you would like to send the report out only on Business days

  6. End: Specify the number of times after which you would like to stop sending this report out

  7. Deactivate on Failure: If the reports fails to send out, choose if you would like to disable the scheduler to send this report going forward

  8. Inactive: if you would like to deactivate or disable this report from being sent out on a schedule

  1. Once that is selected, click the Recipients tab to select or name who you would like to send the report out to. In addition you can also specify the from email address, the Subject, the report format, and if the email would need a message and other things.
